Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hampton). They blew past the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers, posting a 48-14 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Hornets considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Hampton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristan Parks out in front who threw for 180 yards and five TDs while completing 75% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Parks has posted since back in October of 2024. Brejon Green handled things on the ground, rushing for 80 yards.

Despite the loss, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Cason Carrigan, who rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown.

Hampton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.7 points over those games. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Hampton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kell at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Longhorns have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
