Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whiteford). Everything went their way against the Erie-Mason Eagles on Wednesday as they made off with a 19-11 win. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Whiteford's record now sits at 8-5. As for Erie-Mason, they moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whiteford will square off against Blissfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Royals have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
