Basketball Recap: Olympus Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Olympus had won four straight home games and Joss Baker did her part to make it five on Friday. The Olympus Titans put the hurt on the Skyline Eagles with a sharp 65-41 win thanks in part to Baker, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 16 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Olympus' points.

Tallulah Calton was another key player, putting up three points and seven rebounds. Those seven boards gave her a new career-high.

Leelu Bare and Mia Johnson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Bare posted nine points in addition to five assists and five rebounds, while Johnson had ten points.

Olympus' record now sits at 8-6. As for Skyline, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

When Olympus and Skyline next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Olympus will try to stop West's 15-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Olympus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Skyline will take on Brighton and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
