Basketball Recap: Ephrata Takes a Loss

After flying high against Othello last Tuesday, Ephrata came back down to earth. The Ephrata Tigers fell just short of the Ellensburg Bulldogs by a score of 51-48 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since February 7, 2024.

Ephrata's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Ellensburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Ephrata will head out to challenge East Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in East Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Ellensburg, they and Othello will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
