Basketball Recap: Stuttgart Comes Up Short

Stuttgart was the 79-34 winner over Trumann when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Ricebirds took a 76-57 bruising from the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Ricebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stuttgart's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Trumann, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Stuttgart will venture away from home to take on Lonoke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trumann, they will take on Wynne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Yellowjackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
