Basketball Recap: Highland's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Highland entered their tilt with Riverdale on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Riverdale Chieftains by a score of 59-50. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Highland's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10. As for Riverdale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Highland will take on River Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Riverdale has already played their next contest (against Iowa-Grant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
