Soccer Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Clovis lost against Farmington back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Scorpions. While losing is never fun, Clovis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Farmington are ranked first).

Clovis has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season. As for Farmington, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clovis will venture away from home to challenge Artesia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Artesia's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Farmington, they will take on Cleveland in a tournament on Thursday.
