Football Recap: Coral Springs Charter Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Coral Springs Charter had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 56-0 loss at the hands of the American Heritage Stallions on Friday. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 42-6 to the Stallions when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead American Heritage to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marcus Stracke, who threw for 149 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Jamar Dean also helped with two scores in total.

Coral Springs Charter didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 20-13 victory against Pine Crest on the 21st. As for American Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 54-0 win against Somerset Prep on the 21st.
