Soccer Recap: Lennox Academy Has No Trouble Against Vistamar

After failing to score in their last contest, Lennox Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Vistamar on Wednesday. They blew past the Vistamar Vikings 5-2. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Vikings are ranked 1107th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lennox Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six games. As for Vistamar, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-1.

Lennox Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Wildwood on the 16th. Vistamar has also already played their next matchup (against California Academy of Math & Science), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
