Volleyball Recap: Golden West's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Golden West came into Saturday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fresno Warriors on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Trailblazers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Karolyne Moran paced Golden West's offense, picking up six kills. Moran got some help from Regan Morris and her eight assists. Moran was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Golden West's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Fresno, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golden West will venture away from home to face off against Redwood at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fresno, they will take on Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
