It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Roncalli had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lourdes Knights by a score of 3-1. The victory was nothing new for the Jets as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Leading Roncalli to victory were Elise Culligan and Erin Panosh. Culligan had 12 digs, while Panosh had 26 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Panosh a new career-high in assists (eight).

They weren't the only good servers: Roncalli was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive contests.

Roncalli's record is now 16-14. As for Lourdes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-15.

Roncalli has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Montello on the 25th. Lourdes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
