Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lafayette walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the York Falcons a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Lafayette, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Lafayette, bringing their record up to 14-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those six matches. As for York, they moved to 11-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Lafayette nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
