Softball Recap: New Site Comes Up Short

New Site lost against Walnut back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Royals came up short against the Wildcats, falling 7-1. The Royals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Ava Elliott was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

New Site's record is now 4-15. As for Walnut, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-11 record.

While New Site had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
