Basketball Recap: Central Crossing Takes a Loss

Central Crossing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Grove City Greyhounds, falling 53-27. The Comets were not able to make up for their loss to the Greyhounds from their previous meeting back in February.

Central Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Grove City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Crossing will face off against rival Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Grove City is set to challenge their familiar foe New Albany at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
