Football Recap: Pomeroy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Dayton last Friday, Pomeroy came back down to earth. The Pirates were dealt a 52-14 defeat at the hands of the DeSales Irish on Saturday. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Although Pomeroy took the loss, they still got scores from Treyton Kimble and Kyzer Herres.

Malachi Raymond went supernova For DeSales., picking up 115 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most receiving yards Raymond has posted since back in September.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pomeroy fell to 8-1. As for DeSales, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pomeroy will welcome Cusick at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for DeSales, they will host Wellpinit at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Irish are facing the Redskins at the right time seeing as the Redskins are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
