Softball Recap: Princeton Panthers vs. Centennial Titans
After soaring to ten runs the game before, Princeton was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They came up short against the Centennial Titans, falling 12-2. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Dahlia Gutierrez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoie Rainey, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Even though they lost, Princeton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in eight consecutive contests.
