Basketball Recap: Benjamin Logan Comes Up Short

Benjamin Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Jefferson Roughriders. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 731st, while the Roughriders are ranked 360th).

Benjamin Logan's record now sits at 1-15. As for West Jefferson, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Benjamin Logan will challenge North Union at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Union will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Benjamin Logan surely won't give up without a fight. West Jefferson has already played their next matchup, a 58-9 victory against Northeastern on the 22nd.
