Basketball Recap: Rock Springs Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Riverton came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Rock Springs, but Boston James wouldn't allow it. The Rock Springs TIGERS came out on top against the Riverton Wolverines by a score of 63-52 on Tuesday thanks in part to James, who went 8-for-14 en route to 18 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Lionberger, who posted seven points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Riverton's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malachi Smith, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 16 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Ryan Cox, who put up nine points and seven rebounds.

Rock Springs is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Riverton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Rock Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-54 win against Evanston on the 15th. Riverton has also already played their next contest (against Green River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
