Baseball Recap: Twin Lakes Comes Up Short

Twin Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 6-3 to the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Cooper Dold made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases. Peyton Houchen also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Twin Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

While Twin Lakes had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
