The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings will square off against the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Homewood-Flossmoor was able to grind out a solid win over Stagg, taking the game 2-0. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Homewood-Flossmoor easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Saint Ignatius College Prep posted their closest win since September 20th on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past St. Laurence 2-1.

Saint Ignatius College Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Saint Ignatius College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, they now have a winning record of 14-13.
