Volleyball Recap: Page Takes Down Ranked Blackman

Page faced Blackman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Patriots walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blaze. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win on Thursday.

Among those leading the charge was Carlos Hernandez, who had five digs and five assists. Those five assists gave him a new career-high. Rehan Sheik also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Page is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Blackman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Page didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Upperman on the 10th. Blackman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
