Panguitch has won five straight games at home, while Milford has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Bobcats will challenge the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Panguitch gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 20-8 margin over Wayne. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won eight contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Brooklyn Harland made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-6.

In other batting news, Olivia Jessop was a standout: she scored four runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Lillee Torgerson was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Panguitch kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Milford hadn't done well against Parowan recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Tigers came out on top against the Rams by a score of 10-6.
Like Panguitch, Milford also got a great game from a two-way player: Jaidyn McMullin. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off 11 hits. McMullin was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Paizlee Florence was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Hadley Griffiths, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Milford is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Panguitch, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Panguitch has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Milford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
