Basketball Recap: Oak City Prep Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Oak City Prep Bears ended up a good deal behind the DME Academy - and lost 51-35. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 92nd in North Carolina, while the - are ranked 14th in Florida).

Oak City Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for DME Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
