Volleyball Recap: Dawson Gets the Win

Dawson won the last time they faced Coolidge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Dawson was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12.

Maebry Feller paced Dawson's offense, picking up eight kills. Feller got some help from Chloe Riley and her six assists. Feller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Dawson's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Coolidge, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Dawson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Penelope on the 21st. As for Coolidge, they will challenge Milford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
