Evansville Memorial has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Evansville Bosse, posting a 60-15 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Evansville Memorial sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was another big night for Avery Kelley, who scored 17 points. The matchup was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brynna Alpers, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Vincennes Lincoln got the win against Evansville Harrison on Saturday by a conclusive 43-21. The victory was just what Vincennes Lincoln needed coming off of a 47-25 defeat in their prior contest.
Evansville Memorial's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Vincennes Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.
