Volleyball Recap: Rushville-Industry Comes Up Short

Rushville-Industry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Mendon Unity Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12.

Caitlyn Fleck paced Rushville-Industry's offense, picking up four kills. Fleck got some help from Italee Ford and her eight assists.

Rushville-Industry's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Mendon Unity, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Rushville-Industry will face off against Midwest Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mendon Unity, they will challenge Beardstown at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
