Football Recap: Dolores Bears vs. Norwood Mavericks
Dolores was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 32-13 bruising from the Norwood Mavericks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 40-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Despite the loss, Dolores still got an impressive performance from Trayton Traweek, who threw for 187 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown. A healthy portion of Traweek's aerial production (88 yards to be exact) went to Michael Rantz.

Dolores' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Norwood, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-5.
