Softball Recap: Northwest Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Northwest and Eaton Rapids squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Northwest had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 9-7. If the Mounties were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Greyhounds when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Eaton Rapids, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 27-12.

Northwest has already played their next contest (against Grass Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Eaton Rapids, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Mason on the 31st.
