Eunice entered their tilt with Jena on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Giants. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eunice's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Jena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Eunice wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-5 victory against Oak Grove on the 21st. As for Jena, they will take on Alexandria at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Giants' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
