Volleyball Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jordan can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Panther Creek Catamounts on Thursday. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Catamounts from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Jordan started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 27-25, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Jordan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Manuel Gatdula had 14 digs and two aces. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Gatdula.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Panther Creek, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Jordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Panther Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against West Forsyth on the 9th.
