Volleyball Recap: Woodville Takes a Loss

Woodville lost against Little Cypress-Mauriceville last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Little Cypress-Mauriceville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodville will take on East Chambers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Little Cypress-Mauriceville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Port Neches-Groves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
