Volleyball Recap: Ithaca Little Red vs. Corning-Painted Post Hawks
Ithaca and Corning-Painted Post squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Ithaca had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss back in October.
Corning-Painted Post can attribute much of their success to Bella Gonzalez, who had 11 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Gonzalez has posted since back in September.
Ithaca's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Corning-Painted Post, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season.
As of now, neither Ithaca nor Corning-Painted Post have any future games scheduled.
