GHSA to crown champions in eight classes

The Georgia High School Association girls state basketball playoffs are underway.
The girls state basketball finals will be held Mar. 4-7 with the Macon Centreplex serving as the host site for all eight state title contests.
Defending champions include Westlake in Class 7A, Lanier (Class 6A), Buford (Class 5A), Carver-Columbus (Class 4A), Johnson-Savannah (Class 3A), Douglass (Class 2A), Holy Innocents' (A Private) and Marion County (A Public).
