Soccer Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century managed to slip by Hillcrest the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Diamondbacks lost 4-0 to the Knights on Tuesday. Century were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hillcrest apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Century has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-2 record this season. As for Hillcrest, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Century will host Shelley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Century's defense better be ready for this one: Shelley have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season. As for Hillcrest, they will welcome Bonneville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest will be up against Bonneville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.82 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
