Basketball Recap: James Valley Christian Takes a Loss

James Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against Iroquois/Lake Preston, falling 43-21. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Iroquois/Lake Preston apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

James Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Iroquois/Lake Preston, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James Valley Christian will welcome Ethan at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Ethan will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something James Valley Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Iroquois/Lake Preston, they will be playing at home against Wessington Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
