Baseball Game Preview: Woodland Wolves vs. Sutter Huskies

The Woodland Wolves and the Sutter Huskies will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodland has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight losses, while Sutter will come in with five straight wins.

Woodland is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Dixon by a score of 10-9 on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Cohen Dwyer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Four bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Van Dam, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Sutter sidestepped Woodland for a 5-4 victory.

Brandon Flores looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Landyn Singh was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Sutter's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
