Basketball Game Preview: Boerne-Champion Chargers vs. Tivy Antlers

Boerne-Champion and Tivy are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Boerne-Champion Chargers will welcome the Tivy Antlers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Boerne-Champion is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 60 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Wagner on Friday. They had to suffer through a 75-22 loss at the hands of the Thunderbirds. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Thunderbirds recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Tivy posted their biggest win since December 20, 2024 on Friday. They breezed by Smithson Valley to the tune of 59-32. The Antlers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Tivy has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Boerne-Champion, their loss dropped their record down to 16-16.
