Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edgerton). They walked away with a 12-9 victory over the New Glarus Glarner Knights on Friday. This was payback for the Crimson Tide, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win got Edgerton back to even at 4-4. As for New Glarus, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-4.

Coming up, Edgerton will face off against Brodhead/Juda at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Cardinals have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for New Glarus, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Belleville at 5:00 p.m.
