Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Panthers vs. Broadwater Bulldogs
Jefferson had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Broadwater Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 defeat the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 18-25, 25-18.
Broadwater's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will have plenty of time to enjoy the victory as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Broadwater at 7:00 p.m. on October 12th. As for Broadwater, they will challenge Ennis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
