Recap: Palatka Panthers vs. Seabreeze Sandcrabs
The Palatka Panthers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 win over Seabreeze. That's another feather in the cap for Palatka, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Palatka was led to victory by Jhane Fountain and Charnelle Cue . Fountain scored 17 points, while Cue scored 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Fountain has scored at least 25% of Palatka's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikhia Peeples, who scored 7 points.
Palatka's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Seabreeze, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Palatka will head out on the road to face off against Menendez at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seabreeze, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
