Preview: Calvert Hall Cardinals vs. Mount St. Joseph Gaels

The Calvert Hall Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mount St. Joseph Gaels at 7:00 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
After a string of five wins, Calvert Hall's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Frances Academy. While losing is never fun, Calvert Hall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while St. Frances Academy is ranked ninth).

Tyrin Bizzelle was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Mount St. Joseph's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 45-37 to Sidwell Friends. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mount St. Joseph has scored all season.
Calvert Hall's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-16. As for Mount St. Joseph, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-2.
