Volleyball Recap: Maple Lake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Breck on Tuesday, Maple Lake came back down to earth. The Irish took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles on Thursday. The Irish were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Maple Lake's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Eden Valley-Watkins, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Maple Lake and Eden Valley-Watkins will both be playing Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Jaguars at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Irish will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
