Basketball Recap: Macon's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Macon won the last time they faced Marshall and things went their way on Friday too. The Macon Tigers came out on top against the Marshall Owls by a score of 44-37. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Macon's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Marshall, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Macon will be playing at home against Mark Twain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshall has already played their next contest (against Moberly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
