Baseball Game Preview: Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers vs. Welsh Greyhounds

The Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Welsh Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy has struggled recently with eight losses in a row, while Welsh will arrive with five straight victories.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy lost 22-3 to Lafayette Christian Academy on Tuesday.

Jacourey Duhon was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-2. Kennen Brown was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

On the hitting side, Casey Cormier was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. Owen Davis also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Welsh, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
