The Windham RVT Mighty Tigers will face off against the Stafford Bulldogs at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Windham RVT is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8 runs per game this season.
Windham RVT was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cheney Tech on Monday. The Mighty Tigers put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 31-1 win. The Mighty Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Hailey Andrews made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.6 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 5-for-6 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Windham RVT got a massive performance out of Genna Sargent, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Madisen Yanez, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Windham RVT kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 29 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Stafford fell victim to Ellington and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 7-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Windham RVT, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4.
