Softball Game Preview: North Rangers vs. South Rebels

The North Rangers will face off against the South Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

North lost 17-2 to Mentor on Monday.

North saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Credico, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Credico's first of the season.

Meanwhile, South came up short against West Geauga on Tuesday and fell 9-4.

Makayla Schneider was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Paige Janson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

North's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for South, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Everything went North's way against South in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as North made off with an 11-1 victory. Will the Rangers repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
