Ellington hadn't done well against Berlin recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Ellington Knights came out on top against the Berlin Redcoats by a score of 48-38. The win was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Berlin's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Desmarais and Brooke Walker. Desmarais posted 14 points and seven boards, while Walker dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Walker has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times she's played.

Ellington pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points over those games. As for Berlin, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-7.
