Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Big Walnut). They managed an 80-76 win over the Dublin Scioto Irish on Friday. Given the Golden Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Irish are ranked 535th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Big Walnut has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Dublin Scioto, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
