Basketball Recap: Brighter Horizons Academy Comes Up Short

Brighter Horizons Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 69-5 loss at the hands of the Brook Hill Guard. The Stars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-2.

Zuzanna Majchrzak continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Brook Hill, almost dropping a triple-double on 17 points, nine boards, and ten steals. Majchrzak is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lila Morris, who went 7 of 14 on her way to 17 points and four steals.

Brighter Horizons Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Brook Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 29-6 record this season.

Brighter Horizons Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-14 loss against Brentwood Christian on the 30th. As for Brook Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Bishop Dunne on the 31st.
