Gunnison Valley and Manti are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Templars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Gunnison Valley can't be too happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Thursday. They fell just short of Parowan by a score of 3-2. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 25-18 in the first set.

While Gunnison Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Parowan work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-11, 20-25, 26-24, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Manti came up short against Snow Canyon on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Templars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manti was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

Gunnison Valley might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Manti in their previous meeting back in August of 2022. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
